Minutes of a meeting of the New Pavilion Committee held 18:30hrs, Tuesday, 19 March 2024, in the Bridge Room at the Curlew Centre, Sutton Bridge.
Present: Cllr A Billings (observing), Cllr D Cook, Cllr S McLaughlin, Cllr M Middleton (Chair), Cllr N Mills, Cllr M Philpott, Cllr M Pitt (observing), Mr L Marchant (co-opted), Mrs K Croxford (admin. asst.), and two members of the public
24.021. There were no apologies.
24.022. There were no declarations of interest.
24.023. It was resolved to approve the minutes from the meeting held on 20 February 2024
24.024. It was resolved to seek one further quote to commission an independent consultant to give advice on the most appropriate heating and utility facilities for the building.
24.025 It was resolved to instruct Council solicitors to draw up a legal contract with Sutton Bridge United Football Club to undertake a lease over the land and building as soon as it is built.
24.026 It was resolved to commission an accredited surveyor to draw up a land plan so that the land can be registered with the Land Registry.
24.027 It was resolved to set the date for the next meeting on the 16 April at 19:00hrs.
