  • Please do not attend the meeting if you are feeling unwell.
  • Please arrive five minutes before the time of the meeting. Late arrivals may not be admitted.
  • As indicated below, 15 minutes is set aside when a short statement may be made, or a question asked, individual members of the public may speak for a maximum of 5 minutes. Anyone wishing to speak should raise their hand and wait to be asked by the chair. A question shall not require a response nor start a debate. Unless otherwise indicated, members of the public may not speak at any other time.
  • To minimise the length of the meeting, councillors are asked to read briefing papers before the meeting and to keep comments brief and to the point.

8.   To receive reports on District (SHDC) & Lincolnshire County Council (LCC) matters.

9.   Financial matters.

   01.To approve the December cash book and bank reconciliation.

   02.To approve payments to 31 January 2023 as table below with any late payments as reported by the clerk, and to note the two members authorising bank payments.

   01.Planning appeal to H18-0005-22: Land Adj. Nightingale Way, Granville Terrace, Withington Street & Chestnut Terrace. Residential development of 123 dwellings. Inspectorate ref: APP/A2525/W/22/3313330. Unless amended the existing Parish Council Objection will be considered with the appeal.

   02.Any late applications.

12.  To note District Council planning decisions.

   01.H18-1180-22:  97 New Road, PE12 9QA. Extension and alterations. Approved.

   02.H18-1168-22: 85 Princes Street, PE12 9RF. Single storey rear extension. Approved

   03.H18-1156-22:  11 Wharf Street, PE12 9UF. Tree Works TPO 19 2004. Approved.

   04.H18-1131-22: Bridge Hardware, 57 Bridge Road, PE12 9SD. Replacement Windows. Approved.

   05.H18-1032-22   Land between 37 & 39 Falklands Road. Change of use of land to incorporate within residential curtilage. Approved.

   06.H18-1020-22: 24 Bridge Road. Change of use of first floor to self-contained flat. Approved.

16.  To note matters relating to District Councillor support of the Sutton Bridge Wombles.

17.  To consider matters concerning Sutton Bridge Port.

18.  To consider update in discussions with SHDC regarding village parks.

19.  To consider a Community Wood (Cllr S Booth).

20.  To review the Football Club’s (SBUFC) pavilion & pitch fees 2023/24 (as resolved 22.127.01).

21.  To review Memorial Park Fair charges (2022 - £290 per week plus electricity & water usage plus pro rata for standing charges).

22.  To consider arrangements for His Majesty King Charles III coronation event, 06 May 2023.

23.  To resolve that for the Parish Council to consider requests to support community events, such requests must be brought to the Parish Council before the question of such support is published elsewhere (Cllr Scarlett)

24.  To consider matters relating to an unauthorised gateway into the Memorial Park.

25.  To receive requests from members for items to be included on the agenda of a future meeting.

26.  To resolve on moving into closed session on the grounds of confidentiality in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 s.1(2).     

27.  To consider quotes for works [confidential terms of tenders, proposals in negotiations].
