Notice is hereby given, and all members of the Council are asked to attend a meeting of the Parish Council at 19:00hrs Tuesday, 24 September 2024 in the Bridge Room, The Curlew Centre, Sutton Bridge.
AGENDA
1.To note members’ attendance and to receive apologies for absence.
2.To receive declarations of disclosable interests and to consider requests for dispensation.
3.To receive representations from members of the public [i]
4.To receive written applications for the office of Parish Councillor and to co-opt a candidate to fill the vacancy arising from the resignation of Mrs A Billings.
5.To approve the minutes of meetings held on 23rd July 2024 and the extraordinary meeting on 3rd September 2024.
6.To receive any police matters.
7.To receive the chair’s report.
8.To receive the clerk’s report / outstanding matters not on the agenda.

i.To approve the August 2024 cash book and bank reconciliation.

11.Burial Ground
i.To consider updating the Burial Ground rules to include notice that any items that hamper the maintenance of the burial ground as a lawn area may be removed by the Parish Council.
ii.Burial Ground – To receive the tree report and consider appropriate actions.
12.Allotments
i.to receive a report on current vacancies, including the five new plots that remain empty.
ii.to receive correspondence regarding an incident of vandalism and theft at the allotments.
iii.To consider a rent review for farm allotments.
13.Memorial Park
i.To receive the tree report and consider appropriate action, to receive correspondence regarding overhanging trees and maintenance concerns.
ii.To consider allowing Top Corner Academy to hold a football academy course on the Memorial Park and set a fee.
iii.To note the report of a mole problem and resolve to appoint a mole catcher.
iv.To Consider allowing Tequila Circus to visit in May/June 2025
14.Sir Peter Scott Road – to receive the tree report and consider appropriate action.
15.To receive notice that the Sutton Bridge Solar Farm Community Fund on behalf of EDF Renewables is now accepting applications, closing date for the first round of funding is 14th October 2024.
16.To consider purchasing a new notice board for the entrance to the Curlew Centre
17.To consider receiving the donation of a new PA system.
18.To consider commissioning a larger Beacon for remembrance and celebration events.
19.To receive a request to take part in consultation regarding a Dog Control Public Space Protection Order being considered by South Holland District Council
20.To consider recent correspondence.
21.To receive and consider commenting on District Council Planning applications.
