Minutes of the Sutton Bridge Parish Extraordinary Council Meeting held 19:30hrs Tuesday, 17 October 2023, in the Curlew Diamond Hall, Sutton Bridge.
Present: Cllr David Bruch(chairman), Cllr Sue McLaughlin, Cllr Mary Middleton, Cllr Natalie Mills, Cllr Melvyn Philpott, Mrs. Claire Smith (clerk), Mrs. Karen Croxford (admin assistant), two members of the public.
Absent: Cllr Billings, Cllr Booth, Cllr Brewis, Cllr Adam Landy, Cllr Mellissa Landy, Cllr Perkins.
Unless otherwise stated, actions are to be undertaken by the clerk.
The chair welcomed everyone to the meeting. Due to the previous meeting over running the meeting commenced at 19:40hrs.
23.227.Apologies for absence were received from Cllr Billings, Cllr Booth, Cllr Brewis, Cllr A Landy, Cllr M Landy, Cllr Perkins.
23.228.There were no declaration of interests.
23.229.It was resolved to hold a Fireworks display in the Memorial Park on Sunday 5th November 2023 at 17:00hrs to 19:30hrs.
19:49 hrs A member of the public left the meeting.
23.230.It was resolved to move into closed session in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 s.1(2).
19:55hrs A member of the public left the meeting.
23.231.It was resolved to approve the quote for the Firework Display up to £2000.00 + VAT and a Disco up to the maximum value of £400.00 + VAT.
The chairman closed the meeting at 20:10hrs.
