13 May 2025 Parish Assembly - PlayZone
SUTTON BRIDGE PARISH COUNCIL
Notice is given for a Parish Assembly to be held - Open Meeting to discuss raising funds for a PlayZone
Sutton Bridge has been identified as a site that would benefit from the installation of a PlayZone, more information about the PlayZone scheme can be found on the Football Foundation website or clicking the link Football Foundation PlayZones Programme | Football Foundation
The facility costs around £275K, will be built on the Memorial Park, and will be owned and run by the Parish Council. The Football Foundation will fund 75% of these costs. The remaining 25% - £68,750 needs to be found by Sutton Bridge Parish Council. The Council have submitted grant bids for these funds, and it is hoped they will be available and provide the match funding. However, if they are not in place in time the project may not be able to go ahead, the Council would like to put in place a back-up plan. This would involve applying for funds on a loan basis to fill any shortfall.
The Parish Council is asking residents to come along to a meeting to find out more about the project and give their views on the scheme.
Open meeting to be held 19:00hrs Tuesday, 13 May 2025 in the Bridge room of The Curlew Centre. Sutton Bridge.
