Minutes of a meeting of the New Pavilion Committee held 19:00hrs Tuesday, 21 September 2021, in the Bridge Room at the Curlew Centre, Sutton Bridge.

Present: Cllr C Brewis (chairman), Cllr D Bruch, Cllr K Davies, Cllr Perkins, Cllr Robinson, Cllr A Scarlett, Mr D Earth (SBUFC, co-opted), Mr D Smith (SBUFC, co-opted), Mr R Smith (clerk), Mrs K Croxford (Admin Asst.)

Absent: Cllr Goodwin, Cllr S Booth, Cllr M Booth, Cllr York

Cllr C Brewis welcomed attendees to the meeting.

21.42 Apologies were received from Cllr Goodwin, Cllr S Booth, Cllr M Booth, Cllr York.

21.43 There were no declarations of interest or requests for dispensations.

21.44 It was resolved to approve the minutes of the meeting held on 24 August 2021.

21.45 It was resolved to move into closed session in accordance with the public bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 s.1(2).

21.46 The clerk reported that he had spoken with six architectural companies, one company had declined any further involvement. Details were circulated to the committee of the two responses that had been received together with previous information received from companies in 2020.

21.47 It was resolved to set up a working party to review the proposals in depth and undertake discussions with a Quantity Surveyor, a client advisor from The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), the Chair of Marshland Parish Council, and the Clerk of Hethersett Parish Council and report back at the next meeting.

I. It was resolved to appoint Cllr Brewis, Cllr Bruch, Cllr Davies, and Cllr Perkins to the working party.

21.48 The next meeting would be arranged as required.

The chairman closed the meeting at 19.58 hrs.
