Minutes of a meeting of the New Pavilion Committee held 19:00hrs Tuesday, 24 August 2021, in the Bridge Room at the Curlew Centre, Sutton Bridge.
Present: Cllr S Booth, Cllr C Brewis (chairman), Cllr D Bruch, Cllr K Davies, Cllr Perkins, Cllr Robinson, Cllr A Scarlett, Cllr T York, Mr D Earth (SBUFC, co-opted), Mr D Smith (SBUFC, co-opted), Mr R Smith (clerk).
Absent: Cllr Goodwin, Cllr M Booth, Cllr Summers,
Cllr C Brewis welcomed attendees to the meeting.
21.34 Apologies were received from Cllr Goodwin and Cllr M Booth.
21.35 There were no declarations of interest or requests for dispensations.
21.36 It was resolved to approve the minutes of the meeting held on 20 July 2021.
21.37 It was resolved to move into closed session in accordance with the public bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 s.1(2).
21.38 There had been no responses yet received from universities approached about assisting with the design of the pavilion.
21.39 There had been four positive responses from architectural service companies interested in quoting for the project and one negative response indicating that the architect concerned was retiring.
21.40 It was resolved that the clerk would contact those parties interested in providing architectural services and to request quotes for producing a project design brief and to propose a meeting with the committee and those interested on or around Tuesday 14 September 2021.
21.41 The next meeting would be arranged as required.
The chairman closed the meeting at 19.40 hrs.
