Sutton Bridge PlayZone is officially OPEN!
What a fantastic day we had on Sunday 4 October to celebrate the official opening of the new Sutton Bridge PlayZone — and the sunshine even came out for us!
The PlayZone was officially opened by Janette Kirby-Fox, marking an exciting new addition for Sutton Bridge and the wider community.
We were treated to a brilliant display of footballing talent from Sutton Bridge United FC and Long Sutton U13s, who did a great job of showing just how the new facility can be enjoyed.
There was plenty of action on the pitch, while Louise Key from England Netball got spectators involved too, inviting onlookers to take part in a walking netball session — proving you don’t have to be standing on the sidelines!
Most importantly, it was wonderful to see local people coming together, having a go and enjoying this fantastic new community facility.A huge thank you to everyone who came along, took part and helped make the opening such an enjoyable occasion.
Details of available time slots and how to book will be shared on Facebook and displayed on the Parish Council notice board. A QR code will be available to provide easy booking access.
We hope to see the PlayZone enjoyed by people of all ages for many years to come.
