Lives Responders
LIVES need Sutton Bridge Parish Council to help keep our Responders in your community on the road, saving lives. Since 1970, we've been there for thousands of people when minutes matter, attending incidents from cardiac arrests, diabetic episodes and strokes, to major trauma injuries.
A Lincolnshire charity, with over 400 volunteers, we are deployed by our county's Emergency Operations Centre to attend 999 medical emergencies and reach more than 10,000 patients a year. In a rural county where ambulance response times are higher than the national average, a LIVES Responder could be the difference between life or death.
Our volunteer Emergency Responders are exactly that-volunteers. They are ordinary people doing extraordinary things, motivated by the need to make a difference. And because they are based in the heart of their communities, they arrive before an ambulance 85% of the time to begin lifesaving interventions when minutes matter.
" Responders on the road for the last 53 years. At an average cost of over £1,000 per Responder, per year, we need your help to raise over £400,000. We can't do this without you. Do you know who your local LIVES Team are? Please get in touch to find out more and make a donation.
