Commemorating 80 years since D Day, Sutton Bridge Parish Council hosting an event with singing and the lighting the beacon of peace.
On 6th June 2024 D-Day 80 will be commemorated on the Memorial Park. The local event will begin at 19.30 with tradittional songs followed by a reading of the International tribute, which will be echoed by events all around the country, as well as internationally. The event will culminate with the lighting of the beacon at 21:15 to represent a light of peace. Everyone is welcome to come along.
