There is a vacancy at the Parish Council for an Outside Operative
The Parish Council is seeking an Outside Operative to work within the parish. Duties include litter picking, emptying bins, checking for damage to Council property, undertaking minor repairs, general maintenance, garden work, and helping keep the village clean, tidy, and in good order.
A full clean driving licence is needed to drive the Council’s electric utility vehicle. Knowledge of the local area would be beneficial, while a willingness to be outside in year-round weather conditions is essential.
The position is for 10 hours per week worked over two days with some flexibility.
The post is paid at £9.50 per hour for those aged over 22, £9.18 if aged between 21 and 22, and £6.83 if aged between 18 and 20.
